Video: First Visit to the Rebuilt Hurva Synagogue

by Yoni Kempinski

(IsraelNN.com) The restoration and construction of the Hurva Synagogue in the Old City of Jerusalem nears completion, with the dedication of the synagogue scheduled for next Monday, March 15. The Company for the Reconstruction and Development of the Jewish Quarter has completed one of the artistic aspects of the project - restoration of the synagogue's wall paintings. Arutz Sheva TV brings you in to the synagogue for a first visit to the restored Hurva.

A significant difficulty in the preservation and internal renewal of the Hurva Synagogue, which had been the center of life in ancient Jerusalem until Arabs destroyed it in 1948, was dealing with the many alterations that took place over the years the synagogue stood. The Holy Ark curtains, wall paintings, lamps, pulpits and other parts of the synagogue had all undergone various changes. leaving the restorers with the need to decide on which period of time the restoration should be based.

Jordan is part of Greater Israel

'What’s the Alternative?' MK Orlev: Jordan is Palestine
by Hillel Fendel

(IsraelNN.com) Asked to present his alternative to the “two-state” Israel-Palestine option, MK Zevulun Orlev (Jewish Home) says, “The Arabs of the Palestinian Authority already have a state – Jordan.”

Speaking with Arutz-7 on Tuesday, Orlev – the Chairman of the Knesset Education Committee – said, “The basis for every plan is our right to the Land of Israel, halakhically, historically, etc. In the present situation, however, we must see how we make the most of the situation - and not go for ‘all or nothing.’ There is no question that we cannot expel all of the Arabs who currently live in Judea and Samaria, and so the question is how do we deal with the given situation.”

Jordan is the Arab-occupied East Bank of the Jordan River, part of the Promised Land of Israel that awaits liberation and annexation. Why should Israelis be willing to sell any part of their biblical inheritance down the river?

Doesn't MK Zevulun Orlev have enough common sense to know that the same hostile "Palestinian" spirit that pollutes dismembered parts of the Promised Land of Israel, Judea and Samaria, would possess the Arab-occupied Jordan? Where is his vision? Where is his faith?

It's not only possible, it's absolutely necessary for Israel to enforce peace through strength and expel their sworn enemies, as Meir Kahane reminded the nation the Law of Moses instructs: They must go. This is the alternative to the lying visions of peace, the alternative to all the failed "peace" plans that enable the bloody war of attrition to continue.

Barry Chamish is Right!

http://jewsribsinbearjaw.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/jewish-sabbateans-rule-the-world-for-satan/
If you support Barry Chamish why were you directing people to an anti-Chamish website?

The comment by “david ben ariel” pretending to be me and speaking against Barry Chamish shows how low the losers can go (and how desperate they are) who can’t refute what Barry Chamish says, as my many articles with references to Barry Chamish and his revealing articles proves. They fear the light Barry Chamish brings, disturbing their darkness, whether it’s insanely jealous folks like Steven Plaut or other treacherous juveniles in the pay of their Bolshevik masters.

Christian Zionists, Jews, and Israel

For the record, I am a Bible-believer, a Christian-Zionist (one who believes the Prophets foretold the restoration of Jews first of all 12 Tribes of Israel to the Promised Land of Israel before the end of this world as we know it).

I am not a Protestant or a "Jew for Jesus" and certainly not a member of the Roman Catholic Cult. I am a baptized member of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God (who believe the plain truth of the Bible that Herbert W. Armstrong taught).

It grieves me when I'm on various Jewish sites, pro-Israel sites, and some vainly try and pigeonhole my calls for Jews to follow Judaism to the Jewish Homeland to become better Jews and falsely accuse me of only "wanting Jews to die so Jesus can return." Nothing could be further from the truth! (Away with stereotypes! Are all Jews rich or liberal?). I share what Judaism teaches about aliyah (ascent, emigration to Eretz Yisrael - the Land of Israel). Did the Ramban want Jews to return to Zion and die so Jesus could return? Preposterous, eh? Indeed.

I also do not fall for the rapture myth, as some allege, striving to substantiate their theories as to why I have such a great love for Jews and Israel, failing to grasp that I truly believe in the Israelite origins of the West, especially the revelation of Joseph as the Anglo-Saxon peoples, as taught by Brit Am Israel and others, and am convinced the Jews are the ethnic brethren of British-Israelites (contrary to those groups who reject the Jews as illegitimate), and that the Land of Israel is also our ancient and future inheritance.

This precious knowledge and love for klal Yisrael (all Israel, collective 12 Tribes) is my God-given motivation and why I yearn to return to Zion and stay attached to it while in exile (due to an unjust deportation I've suffered for highlighting the plight of the Temple Mount under illegal Nazi-Muslim occupation).

The Bible clearly teaches, recognized by both Jews and Christians, that the Jews would again be living in the Promised Land of Israel in preparation for the coming of King Messiah. Judaism teaches it "hastens the day of redemption" and Christians say "amen." We can agree on that point and permit time to tell who fulfills the prophecies completely, as all will be revealed and Israel and Judah will be reunited, reconciled, and Jerusalem saved from Gentile occupation.

The Jews also believe that Elijah will herald the coming of the King to fulfill the Prophets and teach Torah, and Christians know the chief spokesman between the Two Witnesses will announce -- in the spirit of Elijah (who is dead and buried) -- the Kingdom of God.

I want Jews to return to Eretz Yisrael because it is loving obedience to God, as well as Israel's future construction of the Third Temple, the Temple of God (not just of the Jews as some slander) even though Israel must be warned not to trust Europe's lying guarantees of peace and security or their imminent Antiochus Epiphanes who will betray Israel and occupy Jerusalem and pollute the Temple of God, if they're not careful to hear and heed the Prophets.

Despite unwarranted hatred from some hypocritical Jews who treat all Christians shamefully, failing to distinguish between those who are honest friends of Jews and Israel and those who aren't, I want to express unconditional love to help save Jews from physical and spiritual harm.

I want Jews to live and prosper and love and obey God and be blessed rather than to continue to suffer escalating divine punishments for sin that will only intensify (Dan. 9:11). I hope to help avert another holocaust, one that will target the British-Israelites (the Lost Ten Tribes) and Jews, ignited by the German-dominated EU under Roman Catholic influence.

May all Twelve Tribes of Israel remember our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities, turn from our national idolatry and immorality (2 Chron. 7:14), and be restored to world power and prosperity and ascend even greater heights of glory as a truly United Kingdom, One Nation Under God.

Shame on ghetto rabbi and Nazi pope!

Rabbi Lau: No Need to Flatter the Pope -- or to Rebuff Him
(IsraelNN.com) Israel’s former Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau explains Pope Benedict XVI’s two “mistakes” and how he differs from the last pope – but says we shouldn’t rebuff his visit to Israel...

...Rabbi Lau says, “We must not rebuff the visit. We need not bend over backwards or flatter him, but it should not be rejected. This is a visit initiated by the pope himself so that he can follow in the footsteps of his predecessors. We must welcome him, if only for the fact that millions of Jews still live in the Diaspora, and many of them in places where the Catholic Church is strong, such as Latin America, Poland, Ukraine and elsewhere. We must not give our enemies ammunition or pour fuel on the fire; we must not endanger even one Jew.”

************

Shame on the ghetto rabbi for fearing to oppose the Nazi pope's political campaign to the Holy Land of Israel out of concern for Jews who choose to remain in a self-imposed exile, who fail to follow Judaism to the Jewish Homeland of Israel!

Shame on the political and religious leaders of Israel who sin against God, Israel and Torah by looking the other way, turning a blind eye, to the Temple treasures and Judaica Rome holds hostage while the Babylonian envoy spies out Jerusalem!

By failing to stand up to pharaoh with demands to release the Temple treasures and Judaica, and by failing to "slay" Balaam, Israeli leaders endanger every Jew worldwide as the German-Jesuit jackboot will stomp Jerusalem and treacherous "peacekeeping" troops will pollute the Holy Land of Israel.

What was behind the UN General Assembly resolution equating Zionism and racism?

ISRAEL 1967-1991

UN ZIONISM RESOLUTION

What was behind the UN General Assembly resolution equating Zionism and racism?

Up until the mid-1950s there was a relatively benign, if not overtly friendly, period in UN-Israel relations. The UN General Assembly passed the one-sided Resolution 194, calling for repatriating or compensating Palestinian refugees (not a "right of return") while ignoring an equal or greater number of Jewish refugees from Arab countries. UN truce observers also seemed to have a blind spot for Arab violations. But all this was merely prolog to much more serious anti-Israel bias to come.

In the mid-1950s Israel was criticized for launching retaliatory strikes against Palestinian fedayeen bases in neighbouring Arab countries, while the UN was silent on the cross-border terrorist provocations. During the Sinai Campaign of 1956, a series of Security Council and General Assembly resolutions condemned Israeli "aggression" against Egypt, with no reference to Israeli complaints about Nasser's closure of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping, Egyptian support for and encouragement of Palestinian terrorist incursions into Israel, and the 1955 Egyptian-Soviet arms deal.

In the spring of 1967, UN Secretary-General U Thant's hasty capitulation to Nasser's demand for the withdrawal of United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) peacekeepers from the Sinai and Gaza fronts accelerated the precipitous slide toward the Six Day War. The subsequant failure of the UN to pressure the Arab states to negotiate with Israel based on UN Resolution 242 further eroded Israel's faith in the world body as a viable source of stability and assistance.

Starting in the mid-1970s, an Arab-Soviet-Third World bloc joined to form what amounted to a Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) lobby at the United Nations. The solidly anti-Israel Arab block was joined by the Soviet Block (opposing Israel as leverage against the US) and many smaller countries from Africa or elsewhere who were intimidated by Arab oil-power, were leaning toward the Soviets, or were anti-American as a reaction to their own colonial histories.
Since the UN Security Council was protected by the US veto power, it was in the General Assembly where these countries -- nearly all dictatorships or autocracies -- frequently voted together to pass resolutions attacking Israel and supporting the PLO. Sometimes this was directly related to issues with Israel itself, and sometimes Israel was a convenient proxy for a multitude of other agendas.

In 1974, when the UN General Assembly invited Yaser Arafat to address the body, and in 1975 granted the PLO "observer status", the first time any non-nation was give such recognition or standing.

Even with this prelude, it was shocking when on November 10, 1975 the United Nations General Assembly adopted, by a vote of 72 to 35 (with 32 abstentions), its Resolution 3379, which states as its conclusion:

Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination.

The resolution also endorsed an August 1975 statement by the Conference of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Non-Aligned Countries (Lima, Peru), that:

...severely condemned Zionism as a threat to world peace and security and called upon all countries to oppose this racist and imperalist ideology.

The resolution was adopted despite strong opposition by Israel's supporters, most notably the United States delegation under the leadership of Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, then the United States Ambassador to the UN. Immediately after the adoption of Resolution 3379, Israeli Ambassador Chaim Herzog rose to denounce the resolution, and those who voted for its adoption. He expounded at length on the origin and meaning of Zionism. He said that Israel was not bound by the resolution and would not abide by it. He further pointed out the significance of the date, November 10th:

This night, 37 years ago, has gone down in history as the Kristallnacht, or the Night of the Crystals. This was the night of 10 November 1938 when Hitler's nazi stormtroopers launched a co-ordinated attack on the Jewish community in Germany, burnt the synagogues in all the cities and made bonfires in the streets, of the Holy Books and the Scrolls of the Holy Laws and the Bible. It was the night when Jewish homes were attacked and heads of families were taken away, many of them never to return. It was the night when the windows of all Jewish businesses and stores were smashed, covering the streets in the cities of Germany with a film of broken glass which dissolved into millions of crystals, giving that night the name of Kristallnacht, the Night of the Crystals. It was the night which led eventually to the crematoria and the gaschambers, to Auschwitz, Birkenau, Dachau, Buchenwald, Theresienstadt, and others. It was the night which led to the most terrifying holocaust in the history of man.

In the early 1990's as hope rose for a negotiated peace in the Middle East, the fight against Resolution 3379 intensified. Israel could not be expected to have any confidence in the United Nations until the stain of 3379 was removed. On September 23, 1991, in a speech given by President George H.W. Bush before the General Assembly of the United Nations he stated:

...to equate Zionism with the intolerable sin of racism is to twist history and forget the terrible plight of Jews in World War II and indeed throughout history.

Israel made revocation of the infamous resolution a condition of Israel's participation in the Madrid Peace Conference in progress in the last quarter of 1991. The culmination of the long struggle came on December 16, 1991 when the UN General Assembly finally revoked Resolution 3379, with a vote of 111 to 25 (with 13 abstentions).

The Temple of God in Holy Jerusalem

by David Ben-Ariel

Speaking of some of the saints who were temporarily restored to physical life to testify about Yeshua's resurrection, after jealous Jewish leaders delivered Him to the bloody Romans to murder, we find, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit:

Matthew 27:53

...and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into THE HOLY CITY and appeared to many.

Paul, speaking of the imminent Third Temple, the holy TEMPLE OF GOD (the Temple of God -- not just of the Jews or any other conspiracy theory that contradicts Scripture), that Europe's wannabe divine emperor will pollute, coveting it since Satan knows (even if some religious folks don't) it is the TEMPLE OF GOD:

2 Thessalonians 2:4

...who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the TEMPLE OF GOD, showing himself that he is God.

Speaking of the imminent Third Temple and EU occupation of Jerusalem (whose days are numbered when they trespass upon the Temple Mount), and simultaneous ministry of the Two Witnesses, the apostle John was inspired by the Holy Spirit to foretell:

Revelation 11:1-3

1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, 'Rise and measure the TEMPLE OF GOD [not merely of the Jews or of the Masons or Illuminati or whoever some slander], the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread THE HOLY CITY underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

Speaking of the imminent clash between Catholic Europe and Islam with Jerusalem's holy Temple Mount caught in the middle:

Daniel 11:40-45

At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. 44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

Jerusalem is holy in the biblical sense it has been called to fulfill its awesome calling to become the City of our God, the City of the Great King. It has been sanctified, set apart for a holy purpose that it will soon fulfill. It is holy, even though it is a sinful city, just like Israel and Judah are holy, set apart, sanctified, and need to learn to live holy lives.

The New Jerusalem doesn't come down from Heaven until after the initial thousand year reign of Christ who will subdue all opposition and destroy all enemies, including death and Satan when the Earth is purified by fire. Then the Father comes with New Jerusalem -- the Sabbath-keeping Church of God is a type of it.

Meanwhile, we pray for Judah and intercede for Jerusalem:

Isaiah 62:1-2

1 For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns.
2 The Gentiles shall see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory.
You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the LORD will name.

Isaiah 62:6-7

6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,
7 And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

These watchmen are the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 -- Two Witnesses who will testify in Jerusalem against Europe. They will announce to the cities of Judah and comfort captive Israel (all Twelve Tribes) that our God will come and save us.

Isaiah 35:4

4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
"Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you."

Isaiah 25:9

9 And it will be said in that day:
"Behold, this is our God;
We have waited for Him, and He will save us.
This is the LORD;
We have waited for Him;
We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation."

Kahane was right: Ishmael must go!

The Word and Will of God:

Genesis 25:6
But Abraham gave gifts to the sons of the concubines [Hagar was a concubine] which Abraham had; and while he was still living he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the country of the east. That's where the Arabs belong - away from Israel.

Genesis 25:12
[The Families of Ishmael and Isaac] Now this is the genealogy of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s maidservant, bore to Abraham.

Sarah, under divine inspiration, demanded "Hagar and Ishmael must go!"

Genesis 21:10
Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this bondwoman [Hagar] and her son [Ishmael]; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac.”

Yet Ishmael has caused trouble in every country they're in, not just with Isaac, Arabs fighting amongst themselves and with everybody else - Ishmael's brethren (from the concubines clearly sent God had Ishmael sent away from Isaac):

Genesis 16:11-13
11You shall call his name Ishmael...
12 He shall be a wild man;
His hand shall be against every man,
And every man’s hand against him.

And he shall dwell in the presence of all his [Arab/concubine] brethren.”

Meir Kahane, Israeli parliament member and rabbi was right: THEY MUST GO!

The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11

The Two Witnesses will offer hope and comfort to our captive audience, the Jewish and Israelite peoples under the German-Jesuit jackboot. The Two Witnesses will help prepare Judah for the prophesied repentance that will welcome Yeshua to return and liberate Jerusalem from the European Beast and European False Prophet who will pollute the holy Temple upon the Temple Mount.

Consequences of a sovereign Palestinian Arab state

January, 2007: Consequences of a sovereign Palestinian Arab state
by David Bedein

At a time when a Palestinian Arab sovereign state is so widely discussed, very few have taken the time to consider the consequences of establishing such an entity. Here are questions that every citizen can bring to the attention of the US government which conceptualizes the idea and to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which seems ready to swallow such an idea:

1. Encirclement. Will a proposed sovereign Palestine not swallow up Jordan,
most of whose population is Palestinian, leaving Israel with a hostile state from the Iraqi border to the Mediterranean Sea, with a corridor across the Negev between Gaza to Hebron?

2. Israeli Arabs: Will the Arabs of the Galilee and the Triangle not sue
for "autonomy," and then l demand the fulfillment of UN Resolution 181-an
Israeli withdrawal to the 1947 borders (evacuation of Nahariya, Acre,
Nazareth, Jaffa, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Kiryat Gat and Beer Sheva)?

3. Terror. Why will a new Palestinian entity disband terrorist organizations? After all, Machmud Abbas has so far refused to dismantle or disband the Al Aksa Brigades of the Fateh which continue to fire missiles into the Western Negev.

4. Armament. Why should there be any expectation that a sovereign Palestine will uphold any commitment for demilitarization, since the Palestinian Authority never upheld any such commitment since the Oslo accords?

5. Refugees. Based on Israel’s surprising agreement to view the Saudi plan as a basis for a state, does that not mean that Israel will have to absorb descendents of refugees and displace thousands of Israelis from places like Haifa, Tfzat and Jaffa and 80 kibbutzim which rest on Arab neighborhoods or villages from where Arabs fled in 1948?

6. Air space. Will the Israel Air Force be forbidden from flying over the "West Bank," just as it was banned from the Lebanese skies?

7. Alliances. Based on diplomatic experience with the Palestinian Authority, will a Palestine not violate every prohibition on signing military agreements with countries hostile to Israel, placing the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on Israel’s borders?

8. Water. Like the Palestinian Authority before it, will a sovereign Palestine not carry out pirate drillings, and threaten the mountain aquifer of Judea and Samaria?

9. Jewish sovereignty. Will the momentum of a Palestine not erase the right of the Jews to the land of Israel in international consciousness?

10. Loss of independence. Will Israel not become a protectorate that is subject to the Quartet – the US, the EU, the US and the UN?
